Design for Service Innovation & Development (DeSID) reported the growth of service design through six case studies and a survey of 49 service design agencies. The research shows that this rapidly growing industry mostly appears in agencies located in Europe and more than half of them are in the UK.
Service design is now widely used by businesses and business strategist as well as policy makers. So it could appear strongly in both private and public sectors.
