Stanford University Institute for Human-Centered AI (HAI) has published the 2019 AI Index Report last week. The report comprises nine chapters including research, education, economy, public perception and societal considerations.
The report indicates that at global scale, almost one-third of companies embed AI in multiple business function while the number goes up to 58% for at least one function. While service operations and the developments are the functions adopting AI the most, supply chain management and risk are the least according to the report.
